Organic Garlic Powder
Do you have a garlic spray recipe to kill aphids on my spinach?
I am growing organic spinach in tubs on my balcony and it is infested with aphids.
Can anyone share a proven garlic-based aphid spray recipe with simple ingredients usually found in the kitchen? I have see quite a few but some with more complicated ingredients (and some as simple as garlic powder & water). I have also seen contradictory information as to whether dish soap is an OK ingredient? I prefer garlic powder to fresh garlic if possible.
Also, is it OK to use that spray with my balcony beets as well?

Recipe:
2 cups of water
2 medium cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 Tablespoon Dish soap (lemon scent works better)
Put ingredients into a blender. blend on high. Let it sit overnight, and then strain through a coffee filter. Pour the liquid into a hand held sprayer bottle, and apply.
